PURPOSE:
To have the ability to associate Price Levels to Combos. This allows individual menu items to automatically be assigned a new price when involved in a Combo.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Price Levels are created and assigned to each menu item involved in the combo
2. The Master Menu Item is created- this will automatically be assigned when the Combo Group criteria is satisfied when placing an order
3. Create the Combo Groups
4. Assign the Price level to the Combo Group
HOW TO SETUP:
1. Create the Price Levels:
i. Manger Options > Configuration Tab > Menu > Select Price Levels Tab
ii. Click > New
iii. Give the Price Level a Name

2. Add the created price level to each Menu Item involved in the Price Level Combo
i. Find Menu Item > Select “Prices (Item)” Tab
ii. Click > New

3. Select the Price Level and press OK

4. Assign the “Amount” for the Price Level (this amount will be the price that is assigned when the item is involved in the Price Level Combo)
i. Interface Id- Ensure this is populated as this is the only way to track the Price Level Combo items for Reporting (i.e. Sales Analysis)

1. Create the Master Menu Item
i. Manager Options > Configuration Tab > Menu > Select “Items” Tab> Select New
2. Set the Menu Item with a Price Type of “Price Level Combo”

3. This should activate the Combo Tab. Click “Combo”

4. Click > New

5. Here you can create the Combo Groups (The items that will be involved in the Combo)

i. Combo Name: Give a name to the Combo group
ii. Quantity: Set the number of items that need to be selected from the combo group in order to qualify for the Combo
iii. Keep Price: ONLY WORKS WITH REGULAR COMBO NOT PRICE LEVEL
iv. Override Price Level: Assign the Price Level to the Combo Group. Each Menu item that is added to this group must also have the Price level assigned to them
v. Add Group: Add a menu group to be involved in this Combo Group
vi. Add Items: Add menu Items to be involved in the Combo group
vii. Remove: Remove select Item or Group
EXAMPLE A

i. Group Name: Drink
ii. Quantity: Only 1 item (Coke, Diet Coke, or Sprite) can be chosen to qualify for the Combo
iii. Override Price Level: The Price Level, “Drink” will be used for this Combo Group. Each item (Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite) have this price level, ‘Drink”, assigned to it
iv. Add Item: Add more items to be involved in the combo
EXAMPLE B

i. We have 3 Groups involved in the Combo (Burger, Drink, Fries)
ii. New: Add more Combo Groups
iii. Modify: Edit an existing Combo Group
iv. Remove: Delete an existing Combo group
RESULTS:
1. Based on your created test, we need to choose 1 Burger, 1 Fries, and 1 Drink

2. As you can see, we ordered 1 Burger, 1 Fries, and as soon as we click the Coke (or any other drink) it should combine to trigger to the “Master Item”.

3. Final Outcome:
i. Master Item has been associated- “Burger Combo Deal”
ii. Price Levels have overridden the Default Price of the items in the Combo
