Creating the Discount

3. Discounts

4. Create new discount.  Must be $ amount, cannot be percentage.

5. Turn OFF “Apply to All Items”

Creating and Setting the Menu Item

3. Menu

4. Create new major and minor class, called “Check-Level Discount.”  On the major class, turn on “Not a Sales Class”

1. Create new menu item, reporting to “Check Level-Discount,” called “Check-Level Discount”

2. Save and exit Menu

3. Go to System Settings

4. In the “General” tab, scroll down to “Miscellaneous”

5. Set “Discount Menu Item” to the “Check-Level Discount” item you created earlier
