KB1352 REDEEMING POINTS WITH DISCOUNTS.pdf

PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to walk you through how to redeem points and apply a discount. The
discount will only be applied if the Client has sufficient points. Once the discount is applied, it will
remove the points from the client

CONFIGURATION
1. Go to Manager Options

2. Choose the Configuration Tab
3. Choose Discount Reasons

4. Choose New

5. Fill the in discount criteria:
     a. Name: Name of the Discount
     b. Type: Value Off
     c. Loyalty Type: Corporate
     d. Amount: Enter amount of the discount
     e. Points To Redeem: Enter the amount of points needed to apply this discount. This will also
                                       remove the points from the client.

6. You can also restrict the discount to be applied to a particular Class, Item, or Cost Center.

7. Choose OK after you complete creating all the desired discounts and points redemptions.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open and place and order
2. From the order screen, swipe the Loyalty Card.
3. Choose Assign
4. Go to Discount.
5. Select the Applicable Discount and choose Apply to Entire Order
     a. If the Client has enough points, the discount will be applied, and the points will be deducted.
     b. If the Client do not have enough points, the discount will not be applied, and the points will
         not be deducted.
