The following steps will guide you through how to install Windows using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool
Prerequisites:
You will need a USB Storage Drive that is at least 32GB
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open the HP hardware’s Software and Driver page. Go to the Software-solution to download Cloud recovery client. Install it after.
2. After Installation and open the HP Cloud Recovery from Start. Run this as an Administrator.
3. Click Next.
- 4. Check on “I need to enter the Serial number for my HP System”. Also select the right version of Model Name and it will populate the Operating system by itself. If not then select the appropriate Operating System. Then Click next.
5. Into the recovery option select the Operating system only. Select the Region and Download Server according to the region of site. Click next.
6. Select the USB drive that you plug in to the station. Make Sure USB driver is not smaller than 32 GB. Click next.
7. Click OK on Warning message, stating that it will remove the media from selected USB drive. It will start preparing the recovery for Windows. It will take some time to make a recovery.
8. Bootable USB can be used to install Clean Windows on another System.
9. After creating the bootable USB, plug this bootable USB to the station where you want to install Windows. Restart the station and press F9 key to get into Boot menu. Select the USB drive that you created into the previous steps. Press Enter.
10. Then the installation window opens. Select Language, Time & currency option from dropdown menu. Select according to the site region. Click Next.
11. Select the appropriate Windows version. Here you will see only one option that you selected in step no. 4. Click Next.
12. Accept notices and license terms. Click next.
13. Select the Driver and partition that you want to install Windows. Click Next.
14. Let the installation finish afterwards. You need to follow the steps as you install clean Windows.
